Do you ever look at the facts when you decide to have a family?

Question by Pete Saw: Do you ever look at the facts when you decide to have a family?
There will be virtually nothing left to fish from the seas by the middle of the century if current trends continue, according to a major scientific study.
Stocks have collapsed in nearly one-third of sea fisheries, and the rate of decline is accelerating.

Writing in the journal Science, the international team of researchers says fishery decline is closely tied to a broader loss of marine biodiversity.

  • 2 points.

  • fish isnt really a popular food anymore – kids certainly dont eat much of it.

potatoes will still grow when the sea is empty.

  • They have been saying that for hundreds of years and it has never proven to be true. God is sovereign and in control, not man.

  • The world is going to have to wise up or it may see tougher times ahead. I had 2 children as most did in my generation. Bigger families have made a comeback. I honestly don’t know how people afford lots of children in this economy.

  • It seems there aren’t plenty more fish in the sea.

  • So you don’t think people should have families because the prediction of what the fish market is going to be like?

Um, how many animals in the world have you known that decided to end their own survival for the sake of another species??????????
